Abstract

The discussion on bitcoins is becoming more and more animated. Utilizing available web resources one may easily find a broad spectrum of reliable information on basic aspects of the functions of this so-called cryptocurrency in the contemporary world. Bitcoins are discussed in the press (mostly business and IT papers), and have recently become a fashionable conference subject. Therefore, it is undoubtedly the right time to enrich this scattered knowledge with introductory juridical reflection of a dogmatic nature.
