Abstract

The article presents a critical analysis of changes in the regulatory environment on Polish and European financial services markets that occurred upon the coming into force of the EU MiCA Regulation. The article also presents cross relations between the MiCA and the legal regulations in the area of the law for payment services and electronic money, and discusses the new European public law regime as regards permits for crypto-asset service providers.
