Abstract
The article discusses the importance of electronic documents in administrative proceedings in Poland, taking into account the eIDAS Regulation and the Act on Electronic Deliveries. The eIDAS Regulation has standardised the approach to electronic signatures and seals. It has introduced trust services, such as registered electronic delivery, which will become an obligation in the administrative procedure in Poland.The article focuses on the importance of a qualified electronic signature and indicates other types of signatures and seals. The article also discusses the issue of verifying electronic signatures in the context of Polish law and eIDAS regulations, including electronic signature validation services. Finally, the article details the ongoing implementation of the Polish Act on Electronic Deliveries, explains secure transmission of electronic documents between the parties, and the differences between public and qualified registered electronic delivery and registered snail mail.
