Abstract

The article is the first one of a two-part study on normalising relations between property owners and transmission entrepreneurs in connection with the location and operation of devices referred to in Art. 49 § 1 of the Civil Code. The text discusses, in historical terms, changes in legal institutions aimed at regulating the indicated legal relations and presents the process of shaping the current dominant position, according to which prior to 3 August 2008. it was possible to acquire by acquisitive prescription an easement whose content corresponded with the transmission line easement.
