Abstract
The article discusses the question of the Internet of Things revolution, which is the biggest challenge for the data protection law in the nearest future. The technological revolution brings about more and more devices which transfer information about themselves to the Internet, transmitting data on their users at the same time. There is an urgent need to define the scope of such transfers and data storage, as well as to indicate the entity responsible for the activities of Internet connected devices. It is also worth listing major privacy risks inherent in the emerging Internet of Things. Such list was created by data protection commissioners who are also preparing guidelines for all Internet of Things market players.
