Abstract

In the glossed judgment the Supreme Court collected and summed up the opinions expressed in the doctrine as regards the object of a contract to perform a specific task or work (umowa o dzieło) correctly indicating its required characteristics. In Supreme Court’s view those characteristics should include definiteness of the result, its autonomous and materialized character and the ability to subject the result to a physical defects test.
