Abstract
Dumping prices abuse the basic rules of public procurement and are damaging to public interest. Dumping shall be analyzed not only in the context of public procurement law but also in reference to the Act on Combating Unfair Competition. Dumping results in qualitative and quantitative depletions which have very negative impact on execution of_a contract. Dumping prices, which are often also abnormally low, make it impossible for the contractor to cover the actual costs of contract execution. Negative results of dumping practices may be illustrated by various examples of contract termination due to impossibility of financing the object of the contract. Thus, dumping prices are harmful both to_public and private economic interests.
