Abstract
The scope of regulations relating to subcontracting in public procurement is limited. It includes responsibility of the Contracting Authority to Subcontractors and the rules of limiting subcontracting.
The Public Procurement Act and the Civil Code provide no general rules for the selection of subcontractors, as well as the rights and obligations of the Contracting Authority in determining which entities may enter into a subcontract for execution of the main contract.
There are at least several situations in which cooperation between the Contractor and the Contracting Authority in selecting Subcontractors should be considered.
