Abstract
The purpose of the present article is to point out the scope of implementation of Directive 2023/970 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 10 May 2023 to the Polish legal system. Directive aims to strengthen the application of the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between men and women through pay transparency and enforcement mechanisms, which may influence the scope of authority of the State Labor Inspection, especially when it comes to the evaluation of the rules of remuneration applied by employers. The article aims to present practical consequences of Directive.
