Abstract
The article provides a handful of reflections on the application of the GDPR over the past three years. It puts forward a thesis that the GDPR has passed the test during the pandemic and the digital revolution delimiting a clear and flexible legal framework for data processing. The Regulation has also fulfilled the expectations as regards responding to global challenges. The author also defends the effectiveness of the mechanisms of all-round cooperation and cohesion, and also outlines the reasons for which those mechanisms were set up.
