Abstract
The article discusses the issue of consolidation and subdivision of real estate, which is regulated by the act on real estate management. It analyses both the procedure for consolidation and subdivision of real estate, the legal form and consequences of adopting a resolution on the consolidation and subdivision of real estate by commune municipality. The aim of the article is make a critical analysis of the provisions, which will lead to conclusions indicating which provisions require changes due to their interpretational difficulties or problems with their application in practice.
