Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly accelerated the application of new technologies in the judiciary. An online hearing (existing in the Polish civil procedure since 2015) and the operation of the Information Portal of Common Courts (for over a decade) were changing Polish court even in the pre-pandemic times. These legal instruments have been an alternative to the traditionally understood means of communicating with courts. The article is devoted to changes with respect to online hearings and electronic delivery, in particular following entry into force of the Act of 28 May 2021 amending the Code of Civil Procedure and certain other acts.
