Abstract

The article presents the essentials of the concept of environmental protection in public procurement law. Green public procurement and sustainable development are closely related issues, but sustainable development is definitely a broader concept and more general. On the other hand, the green public procurement policy is only an entitlement that can be used by the ordering party as part of the public procurement procedure.
