Abstract
Legal protection measures serve protection of the rights of bidders. According to the EU directive on improving the effectiveness of remedies the aim is to improve availability of remedies . The article provides a list of proposals aimed at how this goal can be reached.
First of all, legal protection measures should be available also to bidders in the proceedings not covered by the Directives. Second, the deadlines for lodging an appeal should not impede the right to appeal. Third, the appellate verdict should provide for signing a contract or receiving damages. Fourth, it is desirable to establish a special Appellate Court for hearing complaints against the verdicts of the National Chamber of Appeal.
