Abstract

The new directives have simplified the procedure of contracting social services, leaving considerable freedom of its setting by the national law, and have introduced contracts reserved for social economy entities. Moreover, they have specified a new threshold for social services contracts. The contracting institutions have been also obliged to take more broadly into account social aspects in public procurement.
