Abstract

The main objective of the article is to identify historical, legal, theoretical and specific determinants related to Life Cycle Costing (LCC) in public procurement of works in Poland. The article is based on current statistical data revealing the scale and problems with public procurement of works. A description of the main risks connected with Life Cycle Costing as applied in the Polish public procurement system is the ultimate outcome of the article.
