Abstract

The results of a statistical analysis of the relation of prices to the value of public construction contracts presented in the first part of the article clearly point out the unsatisfactory level of investment cost estimation professionalism in the Polish public procurement system. The authors discuss the underlying reasons for this state of affairs and in the final part of the article propose relevant remedies.
