Violence at work - references in theory and judicature of common courts of law

Abstract

The purpose of the present article is to point out the necessity of adopting provisions regarding violence at work and a catalogue of instruments that aim to prevent violence, recognize it, set the scope of responsibility for it and take remedial actions by the employer. The results of a preliminary test covered in the article indicate the presence of various forms of violence in employment relationships, however, it is not characterized or categorized as such.
