Abstract

Disciplining employees is one of the tools, which an employer may not only use, whilst exercising their managerial rights towards employees, but also, in some cases, they have to do it if they want to manage a company efficiently and achieve goals. Although the limits of employee’s responsibility are clearly stipulated in the Labor Code, it does not mean that other types of violations, which are outside of the Code’s catalogue, may not be met with a reaction from an employer. In the present article, the authors point to possibilities of disciplining employees other than penalties for breach of order.
