Abstract

The preliminary analysis of the possibilities to utilise technological development in an employment relationship reveals prima facie the need for a profound revision of the latter, in particular from the viewpoint of adjusting regulations to the ever changing reality that surrounds us. The indicated Labour Code regulations were devised in a different realities and in certain situations undoubtedly hamper the development of labour law in the sense that it should learn how to utilise technological development rather than only tolerate such development out of necessity. The category of „facilitating” is not a synonym to „worsening the situation” and does not obstruct realisation of many functions of labour law, primarily the protective function.
