Abstract
The article presents the current legal status regarding the control powers of the President of the Public Procurement Office. It also comments on the location of this control in the public procurement control system, including reference to the newly established body, the Committee for Control in Public Procurement. The need for the placement of the President of the Public Procurement Office in the system of government administration and the need for further reform of the regulations on the control of public procurement, including the control carried out by the National Board of Appeal, were also pointed out.
