Abstract
The new Polish Public Procurement Law has once again stimulated discussion about the future of quantity surveying in Poland, including on the public procurement market. The problem is still very important and relevant, because the level of quantity surveying in practice in our country constantly seems to be unsatisfying. The first three passages of the report explain the reasons behind that situation. The last passage sets out requests and expectations addressing a new order concerning quantity surveying. That is expected to appear in a new act based on the Public Procurement Law.
