Abstract
Controls over electronic public procurement are, in principle, subject to the same rules as controls over traditional procurement procedures. Nevertheless, digitisation affects the possibility of having more efficient and less labour-intensive automatic collection and analysis of data entered by contracting authorities and contractors. As a result, controls are much less time-consuming and, consequently, more transparent. This article analyses the solutions applied in the Polish system of public procurement law, with particular emphasis on the amendment of 2016, which implements new procurement directives.
