Abstract
On 13 December 2025, the Act of 5 November 2025 on collective labor agreements and collective agreements came into force. New regulations introduce crucial changes, including the extension of the scope of cases, which may be regulated in collective labor agreements. According to art. 3(3)(8) of the forementioned Act, a collective labor agreement may cover, i.a. the issues connected with the prevention of violation of dignity and other personal rights of people performing paid work, violation of the equal treatment principle in employment, and the phenomenon of mobbing. New regulations constitute a crucial change in comparison to the existing state of law, in which the lawmaker did not encourage cooperation of employers and trade unions regarding undesirable behavior at workplace. The present article shows possible actions which may be taken by employers and trade unions to reinforce cooperation for the prevention of violence at work that constitutes a serious problem for many working people.
