Abstract
The purpose of the present article is to point out the differences in determining qualities of an employment relationship in terms of labor law and court practice. The publication was developed based on the debate on the projected new powers of district labor inspectors who, by an administrative decision, are to verify the existence of an employment relationship in a situation when a civil law agreement was made or a person actually performs work for pay upon conditions provided for in Article 22 §1 of the labor code.
