Violation of personal data protection of beneficiaries of life insurance contract

Abstract
The purpose of the present article is the analysis of violation of personal data protection of a beneficiary of a life insurance contract on the grounds of the act of 11 September 2015 on insurance and reinsurance activity and the regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 regarding protection of natural persons in connection with processing of personal data and free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).In the present article, the author attempts to answer the question whether in case of violation of personal data protection of a beneficiary of a life insurance contract should such a person be notified by the administrator of their data, at whom the violation occurred.
