Abstract
The article discusses the importance of consolidating the value of the object of dispute to check the value of the object of appeal in appellate and cassation proceedings The reason for addressing this issue is the view expressed in the latest jurisdiction of the Supreme Court that the value of the object of dispute or appeal set in the course of the proceedings may change (increase or decrease) when it has been incorrectly determined earlier and the court has ignored this. This position is analysed in comparison with the existing case law, in which it has been assumed that the value of the object of dispute set before the court of first instance remains unchanged until the end of the proceedings and in cassation proceedings unless the value of claim or award have been changed in excess of the requested amount.
