Abstract
The article discusses selected aspects of the implementation of the EU Digital Single Market (DSM) strategy relevant to the broadly understood e-commerce sector. The first part refers to the selected adopted legal acts (P2B regulation, directive on copyright on the DSM and directive on contracts for the supply of digital content and services). Following this, the prospects for further DSM building and planned legislative initiatives at the EU level (regarding the Digital Services Act, fake news and disinformation on the Internet, frameworks for data access, and AI) are discussed. The authors indicate how the adopted regulations will affect the e-commerce sector and discuss the significance of the legislative work planned by the European Union for entrepreneurs operating in this sector.
