Abstract

The purpose of the article is to present the impact of changes introduced by the Act of 4 July 2019 amending the Code of Civil Procedure on the course of the proceedings to order publication of a press disclaimer, which takes place according to the special regulation contained in Art. 52 of the Press Law. The amendment to the Code of Civil Procedure did not cover Art. 52 of the Press Law, which in some cases may cause interpretational doubts. It seems that in several cases the legislator’s intervention is necessary so as to ensure that the procedural provisions of the Press Law are consistent with the Code of Civil Procedure in court cases concerning publication of disclaimers and reflect the accelerated nature of such proceedings.
