Abstract

In the presented judgment the Supreme Court confirmed the existing jurisprudence according to which acting in defence of a justified public interest as a premise for excluding unlawfulness of infringement of personal rights may be applicable not only to persons who work as journalists. When such a person decides – acting in defence of socially justified interests – to accuse another person publicly thus infringing their personal rights, that person should rely on true circumstances.
