Abstract

The article concerns civil liability for attorneys’ negligence. The article provides a review of the latest rulings of Polish courts on that matter. It turns out that the number of cases in which the compensation was granted is far smaller than the number of cases in which legal malpractice was established. The reason is that the existence of a damage and a causal link between the faulty conduct of an attorney and the damage are hard to prove.
