Abstract
The main objective of professionalisation is to create a coherent, comprehensive system for educating and training staff in public procurement, while providing them with up-to-date, extensive knowledge and the highest possible skills to handle the broadly understood procurement process. The educational and informational activity of the Public Procurement Office focuses on sharing knowledge about public procurement through implementing a number of diverse undertakings focusing on deepening knowledge, exchanging experience, and promoting best practices among the contracting authorities, businesses, field experts and academic circles.
