Abstract
The article discusses the changes introduced by the package of five acts from 6 March 2018. The amendments applied not only to the existing regulations (including commercial representation and limitations on economic activity), but new regulations were also implemented (including unregistered business activity and the Ombudsman of Small and Medium Enterprises) of particular importance for individuals who establish their own businesses. The problems of undertaking and performing business activity in Poland were analysed, with the author concentrating on the rights and obligations of entrepreneurs, and the issues of relations between entrepreneurs and the public administration.
