Abstract

The article evaluates the effect of the obligation to employ people under employment contracts in public procurement on the SME sector. The said regulation of the public procurement affects not only the prices for services and construction works offered, but is also of special importance for small businesses. The authoress speculates whether that new requirement will contribute to reducing the number of civil law contract or rather shall become a barrier to micro, small and medium-sized operators in applying for a public contract.
