Abstract

This article addresses the issue of EU regulations, particularly the Artificial Intelligence Act, aimed at ensuring that AI technology complies with the fundamental rights of the European Union. However, this requirement appears to lack precision, which could lead to significant practical challenges while also leaving a broad area of legal uncertainty. Nonetheless, an analysis of selected EU instruments suggests that this approach is deliberate, aimed at ensuring such compliance throughout the entire lifecycle of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it indirectly serves the broader goal of achieving artificial intelligence that aligns with ethical principles.
