Abstract
Disinformation is a phenomenon that not only often breaks through in public debate, but also constitutes a real threat to the functioning of the state and the society. International organizations and industry associations undertake measures aimed at developing good practices aimed at counteracting and combating this phenomenon. However, national media regulators do not have effective prevention or control tools in this area. Therefore, they are trying to make use of the competences arising from the law, although not always in a manner consistent with its spirit. The article presents an analysis of such activities.
