Abstract

The article explores online platform services provided under Digital Services Act (DSA). It looks at the distinctions between hosting and online platforms, and illustrates exclusions from the definition of online platforms. It also delves into the dual qualification of service providers, where they may be subject to specific obligations for certain services while exempt from others. The analysis extends to various EU legal acts, emphasizing the importance of harmonizing definitions for effective regulation in shaping the information society’s future.
