Abstract

The article discusses impact of the declaration of bankruptcy or the opening of the restructuring proceedings concerning the licensor on licenses granted earlier. Thanks to such instrument as a license the number of users of a copyrighted work can be multiplied. Therefore, a license is a very popular legal instrument. The article discusses consequences of the declaration of the licensor’s bankruptcy for the continuation of a license agreement. It also analyses the issue of admissibility of termination of a license agreement by the receiver as well as the issue of impact of the sale of property rights to the work under the bankruptcy procedure on licenses granted.
