Abstract

The article analyses changes in the Polish electronic writ of payment proceedings proposed in the draft bill amending the Code of Civil Procedure and certainother acts (3137) in the context of the objectivesof introducing this procedure and justification for its modification. The article analysesthe motivations and solutions of Online Civil Money Claims (a pilot programme for petty civil claims in the United Kingdom) introduced under the reform of the justice system and aimed at offering comprehensive online claiming. In light of that technologically advanced solution, an attempt has beenmade to evaluate the proposed changes with respect to Polish writ of payment proceedings.
