Abstract

In the Polish legal order corporate legal entities (limited companies, cooperatives, associations etc.) are liable for obligations arising from their activities with all of their assets. Members (participants, shareholders) of such entities are not directly liable to third parties for those liabilities, though in certain circum-stances may lose the contributions or shares they brought into the corporation.
