Abstract

This article discusses legal admissibility of establishing civil or registered pledge over the rights and obligations of a partner in a partnership. The importance of the above mentioned problem correlates with ever greater significance of partnerships in Poland as well as the business needs in trade practice. In my view, the aggregate of the rights and obligations of a partner may not be encumbered with a pledge. Nevertheless, some specific rights of a partner may serve as an object of a pledge.
