Abstract

This article is divided into two parts. In the first part the Author discusses the notion of a claim, amounts due under an employment relationship, claims of the Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund (hereinafter: GEBF). The second part is a case study, whereby the author presents and analyses the principles and procedure of satisfying claims of the employees of a bankrupt debtor, claims of the GEBF, and costs of bankruptcy proceedings.
