Abstract

Despite the establishment of extensive regulatory frameworks under the DORA regulation concerning the provision of ICT services to financial entities, numerous interpretative uncertainties arise in the practical application of these rules. The article analyses the nature and manner of subcontracting ICT services under DORA and the relevant delegated acts. It also examines the concept of ICT service subcontracting from both a subjective and objective perspective. Furthermore, it addresses the requirements imposed by DORA on the participants in the outsourcing chain of ICT service provision.
