Abstract

In recent years, a relatively large number of provisions have been introduced into the Code of Civil Procedure, which rigorously regulate the submission of pleadings by professional attorneys. Some of these regulations have not passed the test in practice - have had no impact on improvement of the proceedings. This is trues in particular with respect to Art. 228¹ of the Code of Civil Procedure (imposing additional requirements as regards pleadings submitted by professional attorneys) and Art. 130^1a of the Code of Civil Procedure (providing that if a pleading submitted by a professional attorney is fraught with deficiencies that make it useless, it shall be returned without prior notice for those deficiencies to be remedied).
