Abstract

The article focuses on selected issues relating to the esports market in Poland and in the world. The authors focus on highlighting the current situation of the esport industry, both in terms of its expansion and development, as well as from the point of view of the legal and regulatory environment. The article also describes trends and development perspectives of sports law in Poland, taking into account the specificity of the electronic sports market and a considerable diversity of participating entities. In addition, the authors draw attention to the existing and potential problems and challenges for law in the era of esport development.
