Abstract
The article discusses anticipated development of tort law in the forthcoming future. The author predicts that social and technological advancement will strengthen current trends in the law of torts, such as broadening the scope of economic and non-economic interests protected by liability in tort; the increasingly objective character of this liability, including expansion of strict liability; attempts at applying certain concepts of tort law to damage caused to common goods as well as to systemic hazards. He also discusses the impact of scientific and technical development on examining and proving causation in liability disputes.
