Abstract
The article discusses issues relating to a special form of interrogation functioning in criminal proceedings, i.e. arraignment. The article analyses and evaluates issues relating to the purpose of arraignment, its object, as well as types of this form of interrogation and the conditions for its carrying out. The articles also focused on issues relating to the obligation of participants in criminal proceedings to take part in the arraignment, the conditions for recording and disclosing it in court. The article also touches upon the problem of the evidentiary value of the results of arraignment.
