Abstract
The act of 26 January 2018 introduced very significant changes in the Act of 20 August 1997 on the National Court Register and other laws regulating registration proceedings. The changes introduced under that Act are among the most important that have been so far introduced in the NCR Act, especially in the context of far-reaching automation of the proceedings with respect to entities entered in the business register. This direction of amendments is desirable though at the same time may make access to court more difficult for some parties. On the other hand, the change of compulsory proceedings regulations as well as a significant remodelling of the institution of curator ad litem will greatly improve a large number of civil proceedings.
