Abstract
The article analyses new legal solutions introduced for entrepreneurs in connection with the entry into force as of 30 April 2018 of the Entrepreneurs’ Law of 6 March 2018 – which replaced the Business Activity Freedom Act of 2 July 2004. The authors also attempt to evaluate the most important solutions adopted in the new regulation, which constitutes one of the central elements of the so-called “Business Constitution”, the aim of which is to abolish the most cumbersome laws hindering business activities. Simplifications for entrepreneurs include: the possibility to run small-scale operations without the obligation to register, exempting start-up businesses from paying social security contributions for the first 6 months of operations, the possibility of indefinite suspension of business operations, putting the catalog of regulated activities in order and reduced obligations for entrepreneurs.
