Abstract

The General Data Protection Regulation allows that certain issues pf personal data protection are regulated by the laws of a Member State of the European Union. The text discusses problems of national legislation and factors affecting the shape of such regulation in Polish law. The author proposes a division of references to national law contained in the General Data Protection Regulation and explains how individual types of references may be understood.
